The idea

Our hands are asked to do something all day. Scroll, type, tap, repeat. Otherwise, Held makes objects that ask for nothing in return: something to slide, turn, press or roll in the quiet moments between everything else.

A call that runs long. A train that's late. The minute before you begin. These are objects for those moments. Nothing to charge. Nothing to learn. Just something to hold.

Why numbered

Each object is numbered, OH 01, OH 02 and onward, and given a single name. OH stands for Otherwise, Held. The numbers keep things simple: a small collection, added to slowly, where each new object earns its place in the sequence.
